The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) has just issued a Plan for Implementation of the Key Programme on Investigation of Marine and Island Resources and Environment by 2030. The plan is divided into three parts: (1) Implementing the tasks and projects under the programme; (2) Designing policies and awareness raising on marine and island natural resources;  (3) Strengthening international cooperation in this field. The plan contains 12 tasks on organisation and management and lists 16 projects for implementation under the Key Programme. MONRE has been assigned to coordinate implementation with relevant provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, cities, the Vietnam Administration of Seas and Islands, and other relevant agencies and units.
